Nebula: Eskimo

Photos Credit: NASA/ESA/STScIhubble-eskimo1

The photo was taken by Hubble, NASA’s space telescope. It looks much like  abstract art. Its official name is Nebula NGC 2392, but it is all called “Eskimo” because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood. My first impression was a lion.

The outer ring that looks like fur, either on the hood of a coat or around a lion’s face is a ring of comet-shaped objects flying away from the face in the center. This dying star is 5,000 light-years from Earth.

What do you think this nebula (giant cloud of gas (mainly hydrogen) and dust in space) looks like?
