Science Project: Slime/Question

By Janice VanCleave

Step 4: Project Question

A science fair project question identifies two variables:

the independent variable

the dependent variable.

Example Questions:

The independent variables are in purple type.

The dependent variables are in bold type

1. If two solution, glue and borax, are mixed, what effect would the type of glue used have on the viscosity of the slime?

2. If two solution, glue and borax, are mixed, what effect would the concentration of glue have on the viscosity of the slime?

3. If two solution, glue and borax, are mixed, what effect would the concentration of borax have on the viscosity of the slime?

4. If two solution, glue and borax, are mixed, what effect would the ratio of the solutions have on the viscosity of the slime?

Step 5: Hypothesis
