As a teacher, you have your own “magic touch” that makes  lessons come alive. For me, the following tips along with my own excitement helped stimulate interest.

  1. Hands-on activities, such as investigations that kids can do themselves.
  2. Kids want to be active problem solvers.
  3. Investigations that have just a touch of magic to make kids say”WOW!”
  4. Easy to understand investigations with bite-size pieces of information.
  5. Information that is age appropriate.
  6. Real World investigations–
  7. Explorations that have that …….“ah- ha!” response.
  8. Anything kids can make happen themselves.
  9. Investigations that really work. YEA! IT WORKS!
  10. Investigations kids can safely repeat at home with easily obtainable materials
