Finding answers to research questions often leads to Experimental Questions, which are Cause and Effect Questions.This means that two variables are identified. One is believed that changes in one variable (independent) causes the other variable (dependent) to change.
Following are examples of these two types of questions:
1. Sky Color
Research Question: Does dust affect sky color?
Experimental Question: How does the size of dust particles affect sky color?
2. Magnets
Research Question: Do magnets have different strengths?
Experimental Question: How does magnetic strength affect distance of attraction?
